You can use Tulmas to decorate your home, for example, in curtains or by decorating them in different places.
Tulmas was originally used to decorate counters. According to Tulmas or by it's color, a story or some way was told that was passed down from generation to generation. In Aymara culture, duality is paramount, which is why Tulmas come in two, that is, one for each counter and can also be joined together. Women use Tulmas in northern Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, and especially in areas inhabited by the largest indigenous peoples such as Aymarat and Quechua.
